Waimea has long since been a rural country community which has <br /> grown leaps and bounds over the years and is quickly becoming everything the locals DO <br /> NOT WANT. The increase of foreigner population, increased property tax in our communities <br /> is undesirable. Waimea does NOT need to be turned in to a city.
