PBR HAWAI I <br /> LAUREL PIKCUNAS <br /> PLANNER <br /> Ms. Pikcunas joined PBR HAWAII in 2024 and is assisting with a <br /> variety of projects including federal and state environmental <br /> assessments and environmental impact statements to support Hawai`i's � �' <br /> sustainable development, transit-oriented development, and affordable 1 <br /> housing goals. <br /> Prior to joining PBR HAWAII, Ms. Pikcunas was involved in <br /> sustainability planning. She assisted with the strategic planning efforts ,. .` <br /> for the 2016 IUCN World Conservation Congress; supported Hawai`i <br /> Green Growth's Aloha+Challenge sustainability measures project and <br /> think tank; and compiled the inaugural submission of AASHE STARS <br /> sustainability metrics for the University of Hawai`i at Manoa. <br /> EDUCATION <br /> Ms. Pikcunas graduated from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa with MA in Urban and Regional Planning,2019 <br /> her MA in Urban and Regional Planning and BA in Psychology. During University of Hawaii at Mama <br /> her degrees she focused on the connection between our psychological Graduate Affiliate Scholar,2014 <br /> well-being and the natural environment, and designing cities where East-West Center <br /> people and nature can both flourish.
