Matt is an expert in creating inclusive and authentic public <br /> �� planning processes and creating more equitable, resilient, and sustainable cities. Matt <br /> worked on the Kaua'i General Plan and served as the Principal-in-Charge of the <br /> Primary Urban Center Development Plan in Honolulu. <br /> Ron Whitmore, PhD, AICP I Principal <br /> Ron brings 25 years of public sector planning, private consulting, and non-profit <br /> r µ experience. Ron has led a variety of complex planning projects, including General <br /> 1 Plans, community plans, suitability analysis, climate adaptation plans, and housing <br /> ,A plans. For 13 years, he played senior leadership roles in the planning and <br /> development departments in Hawai'i County—as Principal Planner and Interim <br /> Manager of the Long Range Division, he led the General Plan, community plan, and <br /> CIP programs. Ron was project manager for the Ka'U Community Development Plan, <br /> which was recognized with a Hawai'i APA Best Practice award for its groundbreaking <br /> engagement and implementation-focused design. He is currently managing the <br /> Climate Action and Adaptation Plan for the County of Kaua'i and the Central Maui <br /> Community Plan. <br /> Simran Malhotra, AICP, AAIA I Vice-President + Principal <br /> Simran's background in planning, urban design, and architecture brings a distinctive <br /> k1idesign perspective to all her projects leading to the creation of vibrant, attractive, and <br /> thriving places. She has authored plans for many types of urban environments, in <br /> W. ' particular, TOD/mixed use districts, downtowns, historic and residential <br /> neighborhoods, commercial corridors, and educational campuses.
