<br /> planned and implemented project. Our biologists also have experience developing restoration plans, providing site-specific
<br /> species list suitable for out-planting and reintroduction, and outlining management prescriptions to enhance project success.

<br /> Tech is experienced in conducting Phase I and Phase II (due diligence) ['i t
<br /> environmental site assessments (ESA) for properties ranging from small gas
<br /> stations with one underground storage tank to some of the largest Superfund }
<br /> sites in the country. We adhere to the latest American Society of Testing and
<br /> Materials (ASTM) standards and the "All Appropriate Inquiry" U.S. EPA rule to
<br /> satisfy the requirements for the innocent landowner, contiguous property owner,
<br /> or bona fide prospective purchaser limitations on Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act
<br /> (CERCLA) liability. We also work with the client to create document templates that meet the client's needs for legibility,
<br /> accuracy, and comparability, all in order to increase the efficiency and success of decision making. Phase I and II ESAs are
<br /> typically conducted during large-scale real estate transfers, requiring quick turnaround and reliable conclusions. In all, Tetra
<br /> Tech has completed thousands of Phase I and Phase II assessments, including soil and groundwater sampling investigations
<br /> for lending institutions, law firms, insurance companies, real estate developers, construction firms, and other clients. Our
<br /> experience goes beyond performing simple and quick property assessments, and includes complex site characterization, as
<br /> well as remediation. Where required as part of the due diligence process, Tetra Tech also has extensive experience
<br /> performing hazardous materials surveys for lead-based paint(LBP)and asbestos containing materials (ACM).
<br /> In Hawaii alone,we have performed hundreds of Phase I and Phase II investigations (soil and groundwater investigations), as
<br /> well as soil import/export investigations for Lend Lease, DR Horton, Campbell Company, Verizon Wireless, and a broad range
<br /> of construction firms and developers. Tetra Tech has experience with all elements of the investigation and remediation
<br /> process, as required by the Department of Health (DOH) Hazard Evaluation and Emergency Response (HEER) Office,
<br /> including: Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP; including Data Quality Objectives [DQOs]); Site Investigation (SI); Remedial
<br /> Investigation (RI); Remedial Alternatives Analysis (RAA); Response Action Memorandum (RAM); Community/Public Outreach
<br /> (via Public Meetings and Fact Sheets); Removal Action Report [RAR]); Environmental Hazard Evaluation (EHE);
<br /> Environmental Hazard Management Plan (EHMP); and Construction Environmental Hazard Management Plan (CEHMP).
<br /> One of our hallmark environmental site investigations was performed for DR Horton and University of Hawaii in advance of
<br /> the redevelopment of agricultural lands for the Ho`opili master planned community and West Oahu Campus. This
<br /> investigation, which was comprised of several phases over 3 years, included extensive soil sampling across a 2,132-acre site
