I was going to use my <br />tablet, but it won’t work for me, anyway, you know how that goes – all of a sudden a last minute <br />panic, but, hello, good morning everybody. <br /> <br />LT: Good morning. <br /> <br />NP: My name is Nani Pogline – a former GMAC Commissioner – I would like to make a comment <br />from the public on agenda item 8 under Announcements, if I could please. I would like to <br />th <br />announce that Sunday morning August 11. There were 14 hunters and fishermen that gathered <br />together at Mauna Kea Park on Saddle Road and it was a really beautiful sight to see all these <br />people show up for the cause and they came to show concerns – share observations from the <br />field and former Chair Abraham Antonio gave some history of GMAC and, there was discussion <br />about working with GMAC, which I thought would be so fantastic and, then there was discussion <br />of forming a possible group and, among the names of the group one might be Hawaii Wildlife <br />Alliance, which for me this is these kind of gatherings are such a dream because being in GMAC <br />you always want to see the hunters and gatherers become active and supportive and involved <br />and so I just wanted to share that wonderful event fantastic 14 hunters and fisherman gathering <br />together – smart and wanting to fight for the cause.
