IX. OLD BUSINESS <br /> A. Re-approval of the CSW logo merchandise for this new fiscal year (logo was approved <br /> during last fiscal year); logo will be provided on Zoom for review and approval. <br /> B. Outreach Sub-Committee report by committee member Shana Kukila: An effort to advance <br /> CSW's civic engagement with the community. <br /> a. Get Out the Vote 2024 Partnership Events: <br /> i. September 19, 2024: Constitution Day 2024 at UH Hilo (see flyer in board <br /> packet) (open to public). <br /> ii. September 27, 2024: Ladies Night Out at Civic Center; CSW will have a <br /> voter registration and education table (not open to public) <br /> iii. September 28, 2024: Civic Engagement at Kea'au High School with the <br /> League of Women Voters of Hawai'i County; CSW has been invited to <br /> attend this event (open to public). <br /> b. CSW Community and Voter Survey Update: Survey of girls and women's issues in <br /> Hawaii County. <br /> c. Malama `Ohana Working Group (Act 86) Update:A legislative working group formed <br /> in 2023 to transform child welfare services across the State. <br /> C. Communications Sub-Committee reports <br /> a. Family Services Directory: CSW and OPA completes its update of the 2024-2025 <br /> resource directory for families in Hawaii County; resources distribution updates. <br /> D. Reports on Legislative/Advocacy Priorities <br /> a. Women's Coalition regrouping in fall: Women's Legislative Caucus that determines <br /> legislative priorities of women's issue in the State for the upcoming year. <br /> b. Missing Murdered Native Hawaiian Women and Girls (MMNHWG): Legislative task <br /> force run by HSCSW. <br /> X. ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> A. Recent resignations; CSW has two vacancies <br /> XI. NEXT MEETING AGENDA ITEMS <br /> A. Open Forum: Public comments on issues not on the agenda for consideration for the <br /> agenda at the next meeting. <br /> B.
