My name is John Rocha and have been a resident of Kailua-Kona since 1980 and reside on Walua Road, about a quarter of a mile from Dr. Loi Chang-Stroman's office. I am a patient of both Dr. Joy McElroy and Dr. Loi Chang-Stroman. On more than a dozen occassions, Dr. Joy McElroy has referred me to a MONS surgeon in Honolulu for treatment of both basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas. More recently Dr. Ronald Moy, a MORS surgeon, who practices in California has opened an office in Kona where he practices one week per month. A recent referral to Dr. Ronald Moy by Dr. Joy McElroy for MOLS surgery on my behalf, after weeks of waiting, resulted in a proposed appointment time much too far out putting me at risk, so I elected to have the procedure done on Oahu much sooner. With a shortage of skilled medical professionals in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, approving Dr. Loi Chag-Stroman's application would allow patients, like me, to see a regularly scheduled MOLS surgeon at West Hawaii Medical Group's office saving precious time and interisland travel expense. urge your approval of Dr. Chang-Stroman's application.
