I <br />wish I could come to the Zoom meeting but I can’t. <br />My testimony-you already have read Council Woman Cindy Evan’s proposed <br />telecommunications Bill 194. <br />This new ordinance suddenly proposed by the Planning Director is horrible, it is sneaky and <br />certainly it is not putting the people’s health first but big tech interests ahead of us the <br />residents, with not enough protections for our community! <br />Please vote with your heart, think of your children’s health and don’t support this new bill put <br />forth by the Planning Director.Which gives almost total power to Planning and Telecom <br />Industry with no other agencies or experts involved! Don’t you sense the wrongness of this <br />closed network without input from those with different perspectives. This feels like improper <br />oversight nor care for improvement and care for those who have to live under these towers. <br />It rushes the approval process to only 30 days! Doesn’t that make you suspicious of it’s <br />nefarious intent???? <br />It has no provisions to protect us against 5G small cells! <br />It freely allows towers at schools, playgrounds and day care centers! There are health <br />issues when these towers are near homes and schools and hospitals. <br />Please do your own research not just what you hear from the Telecom companies. Your <br />vote is noted by God and us the citizens, your neighbors. <br />I support Council Member Cindy Evans' proposed t elecommunications ordinance, Bill 194, <br />which had already been forwarded to you. <br />Please consider Council Member Evans proposed ordinance which has clear, with attainable <br />requirements. It is the perfect balance between the health, safety and welfare of the people and <br />the needs of the tech industry. <br />PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING AND VOTE WITH YOUR HEART WITH <br />FORETHOUGHT & CONCERN FOR THE CARE OF THE KEIKI AND SENIORS and <br />your friends and family. <br />MAHALO NUI LOA, <br />Leslee Cook <br />
