Greenwell: Chair, can I recuse myself from the voting? The reason I'm recusing <br />myself is I'm a Greenwell, and we have a deal with Lanihau, which I am a part owner of, <br />and that's why I want to recuse myself from making any comments, but let's bring it to <br />the Director here. <br />Takase: Are they on Lanihau property? <br />Greenwell: They have a lease purchase agreement with Lanihau for that particular <br />property. Maybe you as the attorney can shed some light on it? <br />Takase: Well, no I think you should probably recuse yourself but that is going to drop <br />us below our majority, so you know we're going to have to continue this. But you know <br />what, let's go through with the hearing now, we just can't vote on it, we can vote on it at <br />our next hearing. So, it will push you back a little bit but you guys got other things to do, <br />you have the temporary. <br />Wong: The original property is the old Seaside, and they already have in place <br />Takase: So, this is just for the annex? <br />Wong: Correct. It's an extension to the annex in order to add the mini bars. <br />Takase: Are you guys ready to start? <br />Wong: Yes. <br />Greenwell: This is off of the property though. <br />Wong: It's adjacent to. <br />Greenwell: Yeah, it's adjacent. <br />Wong: So, it's an extension of the adjacent property. <br />Greenwell: It's an extension of what Lanihau owns, it's on the side but it's still an <br />agreement. <br />Wong: Okay, I'm not familiar with the status of the agreement. <br />Takase: Yes, that's okay. I think it'll be just cleaner just to continue.
