Carbon dioxide levels were between <br /> 800-1,000 parts per million. During this period, there was an extreme greening of the Earth. <br /> Plants and life thrived! <br /> According to Braden: <br /> "If CO2 drops below 184 parts per million, that seems to be the threshold where we (humans) <br /> are in trouble!
