Nishimoto: Good morning, could you please state your name and your relationship to the business. Garson: Sure, Katherine Garson from Carlsmith Ball, I’m the attorney for this application, and to my right is Les Hanano, he’s the Vice President of Store Operations for Puna Plantation, and this is Daniel Winkler, who is the Assistant to the Vice President of Store Opereations. Nishimoto: Thank you, welcome. Can you please describe your business? Garson: So, it’s going to be a neighborhood grocery store in North Kohala, and Puna Plantation is purchasing those assets and wanting to ensure sort of this continuing operation of the grocery store for North Kohala. Nishimoto: Have you received the application report? Garson: Yes, we have. Nishimoto: Are there any changes to the report? Garson: No there aren’t. Nishimoto: Any public testimony? There was no public testimony. Nishimoto: Seeing there are none. Commissioners, any discussion or questions? Greenwell: KTA does a good job in Waimea, I think it’s positive that they’re going to take over Takata store in Kohala. They buy produce from the Waimea area and service the Kohala area, and KTA has a good reputation of doing a good job in Waimea, I’m sure they do a good job on the rest of the island, so glad to have them.
