within 180 days from the approval of this permit in accordance with Rule 5 of the <br /> Department of Water Supply's Rules and Regulations. The Applicant is <br /> responsible for maintaining valid water commitments to support the proposed use <br /> until such time that required water facilities charges are paid in full. <br /> 6. The Applicant shall install a reduced pressure type backflow prevention assembly <br /> within fine (5) feet of the existing water meter and any additional water meters on <br /> private property, which must be inspected and approved by the Department of <br /> Water Supply. <br /> 7. The Applicant shall comply with Chapter 27 - Flood Control, of the Hawaii <br /> County Code. <br /> 8. All earthwork and grading shall conform to Chapter 10, Erosion and <br /> Sedimentation Control of the Hawaii County Code. <br /> g. Artificial light from exterior lighting fixtures, including, but not necessarily <br /> limited to floodlights, uplights or spotlights used for decorative or aesthetic <br /> purposes shall be prohibited if the light directly illuminates, or is directed to <br /> project across property boundaries toward, the shoreline and ocean waters, except <br /> as may otherwise be permitted pursuant to Section 205A-71(b), Hawaii Revised <br /> Statutes. <br /> 10. During construction, measures shall be taken to minimize the potential of both <br /> fugitive dust and runoff sedimentation. Such measures shall be in compliance <br /> with construction industry standards and practices utilized during construction <br /> projects of the State of Hawaii. <br /> 11. All development generated runoff shall be disposed of on site and shall not be <br /> directed toward any adjacent properties. A drainage study shall be prepared by a <br /> professional civil engineer licensed in the State of Hawaii and submitted to the <br /> Department of Public Works prior to issuance of Final Plan Approval. Any <br /> recommended drainage improvements, if required, shall be constructed meeting <br /> with the approval of the Department of Public Works prior to receipt of a <br /> Certificate of Occupancy. <br /> 12. The Applicant shall maintain the existing drainage pattern for Ali'i Drive and <br /> -11- <br />
