Pursuant to § 92-3, HRS, interested persons who want to <br />provide oral testimony may do so either at the time the committee takes public statements on the agenda, <br />or at the time the specific agenda item is called. Please note that public testimony may be limited to three <br />(3) minutes in length per agenda item. Those wishing to testify in person should register with the <br />Commission Secretary at the in-person location at the meeting. Those submitting written testimony at the <br />meeting should bring 16 copies for distribution. Testimony may be submitted by (1) mail to Youth <br />Commission c/o Office of the Mayor, 25 Aupuni St., Suite 2603, Hilo, HI 96720; or (2) by email to <br />kyoshiyama@hawaiicounty.gov, ericpgee@gmail.com, and Kylamariehawaii@gmail.com. In order for <br />the Commissioners to timely receive written testimony and to be in compliance with Chapter 92, HRS, <br />any interested person who wants to submit written testimony should submit his/her/their written <br />testimony, which shall be received by the Commission, by MONDAY NOVEMBER 25, 2024. Please <br />submit separate testimony for each item. Timely written testimony will be distributed to the <br />Commissioners by NOVEMBER 25, 2024 by 3:00 p.m. All oral and written testimony will be public <br />record. <br /> <br />Notice to Lobbyists: If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawai‘i County Clerk within <br />five days of becoming a lobbyist (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawai‘i County Code). A lobbyist means <br />“any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or <br />$275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative <br />action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” (Article 15, Section 2- <br />91.3(a) (6), Hawai‘i County Code) Registration forms and expenditure report documents are available at <br />the Office of the County Clerk, 25 Aupuni St., Room 1402, Hilo. <br /> <br />Board Packet: Pursuant to HRS § 92-7.5, the board packet provided to members of this Commission <br />for this meeting is available for public inspection two business days before the meeting date, during <br />County of Hawai`i is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br /> <br />
