<br />From:Dewi Maile Lim <br />To:WPCtestimony <br />Subject:Support Bill 194 <br />Date:Monday, October 28, 2024 9:36:21 PM <br />Aloha, I am born and raised here in Hilo and urge our local lawmakers to keep East <br />Hawaii safe as well as keep the best interests and health of the people in mind and <br />heart. <br />Please support Bill 194 because it reflects what we, the people, want, rather than the <br />Tel Comms and big business. <br />Council Member Evans introduced the bill in response to the needs of the <br />community. <br />It includes 5G small wireless facilities which must be regulated. Hawaii county already <br />passed a resolution to halt 5G. <br />Bill 194 follows up on that by providing necessary regulations that include 5G small <br />cells. <br />We need to be informed of potential hazards to our health and research has shown <br />that the radiation from 5G and other transmitters of high levels of EMFs have an <br />adverse effect on human health as well as all living things. <br />Mahalo for acting in favor and in alignment with this urgent request. <br />With Aloha, Dewi Maile Lim, Hilo Resident <br />
