In response, the Planning Department incorporated feedback from the County Clerk's <br /> office and produced a revised draft bill (Planning Department Exhibit 2B). Key updates in <br /> this draft include: <br /> • Correction of drafting errors, such as correcting terminology, spelling, grammar, and <br /> formatting errors. <br /> • Use of the legislative drafting format which includes amendments to the previously <br /> omitted Hawai -,i County Code 1983 (2016, as amended), Chapter 25 (Zoning), sections <br /> 25-5-921 25-5-1021 25-5-1121 25-5-122. <br /> Except for the omitted sections mentioned above, no other substantive changes were <br /> made to the draft bill from when it was originally considered by the Planning Commissions. <br /> The Planning Director's original background report provides a high-level summary and <br /> rationale for the proposed amendments, the revised bill provides a precise structure, <br /> incorporates all omitted sections, ensures clarity in the amended text, and meets <br /> legislative drafting format requirements. <br />
