Each Commissioner will provide updates and share concerns about their <br />respective districts; Commissioners to decide on whether to add those <br />topics at the next meeting and to invite the public, to provide testimonies <br />and presentations at their meeting. Permitted Interaction Groups may be <br />created at this time. There will otherwise be no discussion or voting, which <br />will be reserved for when it is itemized on a future agenda. <br />i. Commissioners to also provide updates on the tilapia as invasive <br />species. <br /> <br />6. PRESENTATIONS: <br /> <br />a. Blake McNaughton, President, Makahanaloa Fishing Association, <br />presenting, “The Association Public Access and Assistance from the <br />County for Fishing and Gathering: County Easement and Access”. <br /> <br />b. Lauren Turnbaugh Foo, Co-Founder of Aloha Animal Alliance, presenting <br />“The Feral Cat Problem in Liliuokalani Gardens, Banyan Drive, and <br />Community At-Large.” <br /> <br />c. K. T. Cannon-Eger, President, Friends of Liliuokalani Gardens, a non-profit, <br />presenting, “the feral cat problem in Liliuokalani Gardens and Bayan Drive <br />and the community”. <br /> <br />7. NEW BUSINESS: <br /> <br />a. Commissioner Leomana Turalde: Introduction of the Mana Aina Award <br />(GMAC) to honor outstanding individuals or groups who have demonstrated <br />exceptional dedication to support the hunter-gatherer community and <br />protecting our natural resources. This award recognizes efforts that embody <br />the spirit of stewardship and respect for the land and community. <br /> <br />8. OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />a. Budget: Discussion on allocation of budget and use for upcoming legislative <br />sessions. <br /> <br />b. Discussion and Decision Making: Draft GMAC 2024 First Quarter Report to <br />Mayor and County Council, Commissioner Robert Duerr. <br /> <br />c.
