Merit Appeals Board <br />Call to Order (Item 1) <br />August 28, 2024 <br />CHR. CABANAS: Good morning, everyone. The Merit Appeals Board meeting is called to <br />order on this day, August 28h, Wednesday, at 9:30 a.m. <br />We have quorum today and all five Merit Appeals Board members are present. We have four in <br />Hilo and we have Mr. David Wiseman appearing via Zoom from Kona. I'm Gabriella Cabanas, <br />Chair, of the Merit Appeals Board, and here with me are our Vice -Chair, Ms. Gay Mathews. <br />MS. MATHEWS: Good morning. <br />CHR. CABANAS: Good morning. Mr. Charlie Kunz. <br />MR. KUNZ: Good morning. <br />CHR. CABANAS: And to my far right, Ms. Suzi Bond. <br />MS. BOND: Good morning. <br />CHR. And in the back of the Merit Appeals Board members here, <br />in the Hilo Council Chambers, at the Hawaii County Building, at 25 Aupuni Street, First Floor, <br />Room 1401, in Hilo, Hawaii in the back of our Board members here, is Glynis Yamada, our <br />Secretary -Reporter.
