Carryover Sections from GP240 Relevant to Collaborative Biocultural Stewardship HIG strongly urges the Commission to revise GP2045, Collaborative Biocultural Stewardship, to include the relevant Sustainability Objective, Policy, Action, and Agency Action sections and language in GP2040, pp. 102-117. The language contained within these sections of GP2040 better articulate and implement the draft General Plan (attached to this e-mail), including: • Promoting Active Living Through Recreation, Trails, and Public Access: Public Access and Trails, • Preserving Our Cultural and Historical Legacies: Native Hawaiian Values and Practices, • Preserving Our Cultural and Historical Legacies: Multi -cultural Heritage, • Preserving Our Cultural and Historical Legacies: Historic Preservation • Protecting Scenic Resources Mahalo for this opportunity to testify and provide additional information to assist in this most important task any Planning Commission can undertake.
