The responsible agency officials of the signatories to this Agreement shall be notified <br /> 259 by HDOT of training class and workshop date(s)or on-line posts and invited to attend <br /> 260 all training classes and workshops. <br /> 261 V. HISTORIC BRIDGE IDENTIFICATION UPDATES AND REVISIONS <br /> 262 The following procedures will be implemented by FHWA, HDOT and SHPO to maintain <br /> 263 an up-to-date Historic Bridge List (Attachment 1) that lists all bridges and structures to <br /> 264 which this Agreement applies. <br /> 265 A. The Historic Bridge List (Attachment 1) will be based on the most-current, <br /> 266 interagency agreed-upon HDOT statewide historic bridge inventory, which at the <br /> 267 time of this agreement is the 2024 State Historic Bridge Inventory and Evaluation <br /> 268 Update. <br /> 269 <br /> 270 HDOT may initiate an update to the Historic Bridge List (Attachment 1) through <br /> 271 notification of the Signatories to this PA. If new or additional information becomes <br /> 272 known which may impact the NRHP eligibility status of an individual bridge,HDOT <br /> 273 will provide such information to the Signatories. This information may relate to an <br /> 274 individual historic bridge currently on the Historic Bridge List (Attachment 1), a <br /> 275 bridge with an undetermined eligibility status, a bridge previously considered not <br /> 276 eligible, a historic bridge replaced or rehabilitated through a major project, or a <br /> 277 historic bridge lost to an accident, natural disaster, or the like. New or updated <br /> 278 eligibility of the individual bridge in question will be considered following the regular <br /> 279 Section 106 consultation process in 36 C.F.R. § 800.3-4, except in those instances <br /> 280 where a historic bridge has been lost or replaced in which case it may be removed <br /> 281 from the list following notification of the Signatories of the loss or demolition of the <br /> 282 resource. HDOT shall maintain the list and add to or remove bridges from the list <br /> 283 after consultation per 36 C.F.R. § 800.4(c). <br /> 284 B. HDOT may add non-bridge class structures defined in accordance with 23 C.F.R. <br /> 285 650.403 as having an opening measuring along the center of the roadway of less than <br /> 286 20 feet,to the Historic Bridge List(Attachment 1)when the non-bridge class structure <br /> 287 has been identified as a NRNP listed, eligible or potentially eligible historic structure <br /> 288 following the regular Section 106 process defined in 36 C.F.R.§ 800.3-4, including <br /> 289 notification and involvement of NHOs and the public. <br /> 290 VI. APPLICATION OF TIERED ACTIVITIES <br /> 291 A. Referencing the Tiered Activities (Appendix A) for the Hawai'i Historic Bridge <br /> 292 Program subject to this Agreement, Certified Project Managers or SOI Qualified <br /> 293 Professional(s)following the Project Review process outlined in Stipulation VII may <br /> 294 make an initial evaluation that an undertaking is a type of activity/activities that has <br /> 295 no adverse effect on historic bridges and structures on the Historic Bridge List <br /> 296 (Attachment 1). As such, the undertaking is limited to the activities specified as a <br /> 297 Tiered Activity and meets all the activity terms and conditions and is not part of a <br /> DRAFT FINAL <br /> Programmatic Agreement for the <br /> Hawai'i Historic Bridge Program 8 January 2, 2025 <br />
