THIS SHOULD BE REMOVED! <br />(Do not further regulate and fine people without fully investigating the climate <br />change narrative and proving that any additional technology is safe for the human life.) <br /> Increasing equitable resilience to climate hazards will benefit historically marginalized and frontline Engage <br />communities (What does this mean?) and those that are vulnerable to climate change impacts. <br />Energy & • Transportation <br /> Invest in renewable energy sources that are proven safe and affordable to the public to reduce GHG <br />emissions and increase energy resilience. <br /> Promote energy efficiency in buildings and transportation that are proven safe and affordable to the <br />public to reduce overall energy consumption and without increasing regulations or fines <br />Biodiversity & Ecosystems <br /> Managed retreat strategies and new shoreline setback regulations would expand open space along the <br />shoreline to support coastal ecosystems such as anchialine pools without hindering public access. <br /> Supporting conservation programs that are proven safe for the people and the environment can help <br />protect native species and habitats from climate change impacts without hindering public access and <br />without increasing regulations and fines. <br /> Strengthening measures to control and eradicate invasive species can help protect local ecosystems. <br /> Enhance habitat connectivity to allow species to migrate in response to changing environmental <br />conditions without hindering public access and without increasing regulations and fines. <br />Education & Capacity Building <br /> Build capacity for local government agencies by providing training and resources that improve their <br />ability to plan and implement climate adaptation initiatives without increasing regulations and fines. <br /> Collaborate and coordinate with the County’s Office of <br /> Support research and monitoring efforts to better understand climate impacts and the <br /> <br />
