• Ongoing interagency coordination, including consultation with place-based land <br /> stewards,cultural and historical advisory groups, land and homeowners, and other <br /> stakeholders being transparent of what they hold stake in. <br /> • The County can take a more proactive role in exercising its protective public trust role for <br /> natural and cultural resources. This sounds like government overreach. Again, the planning <br /> department is NOT responsible for protecting the public. That is a byproduct of what you do but <br /> it is NOT the main part of your job!
