This is a ruse to bring in SMART City and Electric vehicles where the renewable energy and electric companies will prosper and the people's expenses will increase, their right to privacy will be eliminated and many freedoms will be taken away. Plus, the General Plan Manager shared info that only 2 electric vehicles have caught fire in the past 10 years but she didn't say where are the electric vehicles going to be put when they die? They are a hazard waste (they emit toxic fumes if the engine block is cracked) and cannot be put in the landfill. Who is going to pay for them to get shipped off island and who will take them? What about the increased stress on the electric grid that is already over taxed? Who is the State? Hawaii is not a "State". It is a US occupied territory as all locals know.
