Merit Appeals Board September 19, 2024 <br />MS. BOND: You're welcomeI don't know what else to say. <br />CHR. CABANAS: And, Mr. Wiseman, from Kailua-Kona. <br />MR. WISEMAN: Yes. I'm a retired judge for the formerly United States Commonwealth of the <br />Northern Mariana Islands, where I lived for 40 years, practiced law for 20, was a judge for 20 in <br />the Commonwealth Trial Court, as well as a designated judge for the United States District Court <br />for the Northern Mariana Islands. <br />Been in Kona —although I've lived in Pahoa in 1975, moved here about eight years ago —after <br />retirement. And I've Chaired the County Board of Ethics and was a membera former member, <br />of the Board of Appeals for the County. <br />CHR. CABANAS: Thank you, Mr. Wiseman. Well, Alika and I have worked together, so it's <br />safe to say she knows me, I know her. So, thank you and welcome —and I hope you will enjoy <br />this next journey in your long HR career, Alika. <br />MS. KOST: Thank you very much. <br />CHR.
