ENRIQUEZ: Is the meeting confirmed or do I still have to remain (inaudible). <br />CHR. CABANAS: No, it's confirmed, Mr. Enriquez. Thank you. <br />MR. ENRIQUEZ: Okay, thank you. <br />CHR. CABANAS: Thank you so much. Have a good day. Okay, so let me restate — <br />MS. BOND: And I just put it in my brand new calendar. <br />CHR. CABANAS: Okay, very good. Yes, have your 2025 calendar available. <br />Okay, so, let's recap. So, we approved having a meeting on January 16'h with the Jonah Kaye <br />hearing at 9:00. We did that. And now, for Mr. Enriquez to report back to the MAB—he's <br />going to do that at 8:30, so our meeting will convene on January 16'h at 8:30 January 161, <br />2025, at 8:30 for three Board members —Ms. Bond, Ms. Mathews, and myself —here, in the Hilo <br />Council Chambers of the Hawaii County Building, at 25 Aupuni Street, First Floor, Room 1401. <br />Okay, so let's move on. <br />HEARING RE COMMUNICATION NO. 24-03 (To convene following the hearing on <br />Comm. No. 24-14) Note: At Its Meeting Held On August 28, 2024, The Merit Appeals <br />Board (MAB) Voted To Hold This Matter In Abeyance And Refer It To The Hawaii <br />Labor Relations Board (NLRB) For Their Decision Concerning Whether MAB Has <br />Jurisdiction To Hear This Appeal. At Its Meeting Held On September 19, 2024, MAB Was <br />Informed That HLRB Determined That The Board Has Jurisdiction To Hear This Appeal; <br />However, MAB Will Await The Official Written Decision From NLRB.
