I am extremely interested in adding <br /> additional protections for our native Ohi'a forest, which is being decimated by unpermitted <br /> grubbing and grading, feral ungulates, ROD and invasive species. We need much stronger <br /> ordinances and building codes at the County level to protect this natural resource for the native <br /> wildlife, watershed, and economic viability of our community. I support the Collaborative <br /> Biocultural Stewardship in the General Plan 2045, and strengthening of the current ordinances <br /> going forward.
