STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC This Commission will accept both written testimony and oral testimony. Oral testimony can be provided at the beginning of the meeting, when the respective agenda is called, or at the sole discretion of the Chair. Each Commissioner will provide updates and share concerns about their respective districts; Commissioners to decide on whether to add those topics at the next meeting and to invite the public, to provide testimonies and presentations at their meeting. Permitted Interaction Groups may be created at this time. There will otherwise be no discussion or voting, which will be reserved for when it is itemized on a future agenda. 5. PRESENTATIONS: a. Lawrence L. Terlep, Jr., Hawai’i Island DOCARE Branch Chief, and Ivan Tamura, DOCARE Lt., “Talk Story with Hawai’i Island Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement”, on updates, concerns, programs and policies for Hawaii Island mauka and makai. b. Chuck Flaherty, Chair of Hawai’i County Sierra Club “to present on the Hawai’i County General Plan Comprehensive Review as it relates to public access, recreation, trails, cultural and environmental resources.” 6.
