Commissioner Greenwell moved to approve Application No. T24-19, <br />Walua Social LLC, dba Walua Social, for a Sale and Transfer of the <br />Restaurant General liquor license, Category 132, currently held by <br />Los Habaneros, Inc., dba Habaneros Grill, located at 75-5864 Walua <br />Road, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 7-5-009-034, with public hearing <br />to be held on March 6, 2025, in Hilo, Hawaii; Seconded by <br />Commissioner Nishimoto. <br />Okabe: Any discussion to the motion? <br />Greenwell: Gerald, help us or maybe Stacie, what is T-REST-G-1045 license number, <br />what does that mean? <br />Takase: Temporary Restaurant General 1045 is the license number. <br />Greenwell: I don't see that coming up often, is that something that's used often, or is it <br />something rare? <br />Waltjen: Only when we issue temporary licenses, when we issue temporary liquor <br />licenses, we'll add the "T" in front of the actual liquor license number. <br />Greenwell: Thank you. <br />Okabe: Any other discussion? <br />There was no further discussion by Commissioners. <br />Okabe: All those in favor please say "Aye." <br />The Commissioners voted "Aye." <br />Okabe: All opposed "Nay." <br />There was no opposition by Commissioners. <br />Okabe: Any abstentions? <br />There were no abstentions by Commissioners. <br />Okabe: Hearing none, motion is carried. <br />The motion was carried unanimously. <br />Okabe: Motion to ratify issuance of Temporary License No. T-REST-G-1045, effective <br />January 3, 2025? <br />MINUTES -LIQUOR COMMISSION MEETING - THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2025 - KONA PAGE 17 OF 39 <br />
