BUSINESS OF THE AGENCY <br />1. Legislative Update on the Peninsula: Invited members of the State <br />Legislature will provide updates on bills affecting the Peninsula that were <br />introduced in the 2025 legislative session. The discussion will include potential impacts, <br />legislative priorities, and the next steps. <br />Invited Legislators: <br /> Senator Lorraine Inouye <br /> Representative Sue Keohokapu-Lee Loy <br /> Representative Matthias Kusch <br />Representative Chris Todd <br />2. <br />Peninsula: Representatives from HCDA will provide an update on legislation <br />concerning <br />3. : The board will <br />discuss the utilization of the $1 million appropriation designated for the development of a <br />master plan for the Waiakea Peninsula. The Office of State Planning and HCDA will <br />design and execute this plan. <br />4. Former Deputy Planning Director Daryn Arai Insights on the Peninsula: <br />Former Deputy Planning Director Daryn Arai has been invited to provide an overview of <br />in the redevelopment of Banyan Drive. Additionally, he will share his recommendations <br />impact on future planning efforts. <br />5. Mayor’s Office Update on the Peninsula: Mayor Kimo Alameda and/or <br />designated representatives have been invited to comment and provide guidance on <br />initiatives related to the , in particular HB818, 2025 and any other <br />concepts the Mayor’s office may have to present. <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br />1.
