<br /> <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br /> <br />This Commission will accept both written testimony and oral testimony. Oral testimony can be <br />provided at the beginning of the meeting, when the respective agenda is called, or at the sole <br />discretion of the Chair. All written testimony will be a part of the permanent record and must be <br />submitted either to: (i) this Commission’s clerk: Barbara.Kossow@hawaiicounty.gov; (ii) facsimile <br />to (808) 323-4440; or (iii) mail to Game Management Advisory Commission, 74-5044 Ane <br />nd <br />Keohokālole Hwy., Bldg C, 2 FL, Kailua-Kona, Hawai‘i 96740. <br /> <br />Anyone wishing to present an item at a future meeting should contact this Commission’s clerk at: <br />808-323-4444 or Barbara.Kossow@hawaiicounty.gov to have the subject placed on the next <br />available agenda. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL: <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: February 18, 2025 <br /> <br />3. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS: <br /> <br />4. COMMISSIONER’S DISTRICT REPORTS: <br /> <br />a. Each Commissioner will provide updates and share concerns about their <br />respective districts; Commissioners to decide on whether to add those <br />topics at the next meeting and to invite the public to provide testimonies and <br />presentations at their meeting. Permitted Interaction Groups may be <br />created at this time. There will otherwise be no discussion or voting, which <br />will be reserved for when it is itemized on a future agenda. <br /> <br />5. PRESENTATIONS: <br /> <br />a. Lawrence L. Terlep, Jr., Hawai’i Island DOCARE Branch Chief, and Ivan <br />Tamura, DOCARE Lt., “Update from Hawai’i Island Division of <br />Conservation and Resources Enforcement: Overview of Job Duties; <br />Changing in Hunting and Hunting Related Issues; New regulated Fish <br />Species; Updates to Waiakea Public Fish Area and Wailoa River Rules; <br />and Update on Conservation Goals relating to Issuance of Citations for <br />Resource Violation.” <br /> <br />6.
