COMMUNITY OUTREACH The 2024 SHBIE update included early meetings with FHWA on February 9, 2022, and with SHPD on February 15, 2022. An additional meeting occurred with the Historic Hawaii Foundation (HHF) on July 11, 2023, and two stakeholder meetings with a broader group that included HHF were held on August 16, 2023. The stakeholder meetings were organized to explain proposed changes and updates to the SHBIE and provide instructions for coordinating stakeholders to photograph bridges.
