Capacity of the Firm & Key Personnel to Accomplish the work in the required time: <br /> Akinaka &Associates, Ltd. has worked successfully on many State, County and private projects with accelerated <br /> schedules and restrictive budgets, at the same time achieving a level of quality commensurate with the <br /> engineering standard of practice. <br /> Akinaka &Associates Ltd. has the capacity to accomplish the work in the required time with the available or <br /> proposed resources. Commitment of resources will be dedicated to completing the project on-time should we be <br /> selected as the consultant for the project. Principal involvement in projects with time constraints assures that the <br /> firm will be focused on meeting the goals of the County of Hawaii, Department of Public Works. Our firm is <br /> familiar with the procedures, standards and requirements of the State of Hawaii, federal funded projects, and all <br /> required permitting processes. <br /> Akinaka &Associates Ltd. uses software to efficiently design and draft projects, making production of plans <br /> seamless. All employees are proficient in computer-aided design, which promotes a high level of quality control. <br /> Deltek software is used to track man-hours and project budgets to allow project managers the ability to forecast <br /> workload and employee availability. Scheduling software assists project managers in proper scheduling to <br /> maintain oversight on projects and to assure that all work products produced by the firm undergoes proper <br /> quality control. <br /> We continue to work with an integrated consultant group based on performance on a timely basis and product <br /> quality. Plans, data and other shared information will be distributed through electronic mail. Telephone <br /> conferences will be implemented to reduce administrative and coordination time. Initial establishment of a basis <br /> of planning and drawing protocols will facilitate in coordination and review. <br /> The timing of the subject project is appropriate for the workload of the firm.
