11111uchiyama <br /> 11 erskine <br /> •; architects <br /> Fred Erskine, AIA <br /> WORK HISTORY Fred became interested in architecture while attending the Kamehameha <br /> Uchiyama Erskine Architects LLC Schools (KS) Kapalama Campus. Fred enrolled in the architecture program at <br /> 2023 to present the University of Idaho,where he was also awarded a golf scholarship and <br /> Erskine Architects, Inc. competed on the golf team. Fred received his BA in Architecture in 1994. <br /> 2001—2022 After receiving his degree, Fred returned to Hawaii to complete his <br /> HYA, Inc. internship on his way to obtaining his license. Fred was granted his license <br /> 2000-2001 to practice architecture in the State of Hawaii in 2000. In 2001, Fred <br /> Kauahikaua&Chun/Architects incorporated and started Erskine Architects, Inc. <br /> 1996-2000 <br /> Architects Hawaii, Ltd. Fred has designed a broad spectrum of Commercial, Institutional, <br /> 1995 - 1996 Educational and Residential Projects. Fred has also successfully completed <br /> Eugene E. Leucht Architects, LTD projects with the State of Hawaii Dept. of Education, Dept. of Land and <br /> 1989- 1995 Natural Resources and coordinated projects located on State of Hawaii <br /> Dept. of Hawaiian Home Lands. Fred has also completed numerous projects <br /> PROFESSIONAL with the Kamehameha Schools and various Public Charter Schools <br /> ORGANIZATIONS throughout the State. <br /> Registered Architect — State of <br /> Hawaii, License#AR 10192 Fred's experience includes design and planning services associated with a <br /> American Institute of Architects - wide range of public and private sector projects, including facilities master <br /> Honolulu Chapter planning, site/building assessments, applying/obtaining land use approvals <br /> Portuguese Chamber of and project management. <br /> Commerce- Hawaii Island <br /> Kailua Mustangs Association, Fred's years of experience has allowed him to gain the necessary knowledge <br /> Board of Directors, 2018 and to develop the skill sets to successfully plan, budget, schedule, and <br /> navigate the complexities involved with obtaining land use approvals, <br /> AWARDS regulatory approvals and the construction process. Fred has effectively <br /> Award of Distinction from managed both small and large teams of consulting engineers on a wide <br /> Modular Building Institute- First array of project types. <br /> Place, 2008 <br /> Although Uchiyama Erskine Architects utilizes the latest in technology to <br /> EDUCATION assist both designers and clients throughout the planning and design <br /> Bachelor of Architecture process, Fred believes that this technology is strictly a tool to be harnessed <br /> University of Idaho, for specific functions.
