<br /> (EA)for the release of the biocontrol species Euselasia chrysippe into Hawai`i's natural environment to reduce infestations of Miconia calvescens.The
<br /> introduction and establishment of E. chrysippe is expected to reduce fitness of miconia populations where they are found throughout the state.The EA
<br /> was developed according to state and federal specifications and in close cooperation with researchers and staff from the University of Hawaii and the

<br /> extension project in the Ewa District on Oahu. SWCA reviewed available scientific and technical literature regarding natural resources in and near the
<br /> survey area.A pedestrian flora(botanical)and fauna survey was conducted to document all species present in the area.A report was prepared
