Effective May 1, 2016, <br /> FHWA has issued a Programmatic Delegation of Authority allowing the HDOT and local public <br /> agencies to conduct NHPA Section 106 consultations with the SHPO, NHO, and other <br /> consulting parties per Title 36 CFR § 800.2(c)(4). The FHWA will remain responsible for all <br /> findings and determinations charged to the agency during the Section 106 process. <br /> Overview of the Undertaking <br /> The proposed project is located along Hawaii Belt Road (State Route 19), in the vicinity of <br /> Honomu, on the Hamakua Coast, Island of Hawaii. Kolekole Stream Bridge (Bridge No. <br /> 001000190308549)is located between Mile Posts 13.97 and 14.07 at the approximate <br /> coordinates of N 19° 52' 57.75" and W 155° 07' 8.50".
