<br />Salary Commission August 28, 2025 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MS. FRENZ: Thank you. Chair. Good morning, again, everyone. So, I—everyone that’s with <br />us here today had been a party to our previous work in 2024 to adjust the salary wages for <br />appointed and elected officials pursuant to the Charter. <br /> <br />So, I just—does anyone have questions given that we don’t have any new members here today? <br /> <br />CHR. PAVAO: No, I don’t. <br /> <br />MS. FRENZ: No? Okay. One gentle reminder, under the Charter that if this—if and when this <br />body were to decide to do any increases or decreases of more than 10%, it requires an affirmative <br />two-thirds vote of the entire membership of this body. <br /> <br />And we would, again, need to run any potential salary increases in the newspaper and hold our <br />required public meetings, as we did previously, and draft the proposed Findings of Facts and <br />Conclusions of Law as we’ve previously done. <br /> <br />If you have any questions, you can either let me know or email me and we can meet either after <br />this separately or I can do Zooms with any of you guys, if you have any questions about the <br />duties and responsibilities of this Commission under the Charter. <br /> <br />CHR. NELSON: So, this is Nelson—so I was just wondering if all the negotiations with the <br />unions are done? Is that correct?
