Kua <br />Minutes approved as presented by unanimous vote <br />No quorum was present at the last committee meeting, but an <br />informal meeting was held. <br />Lei Garden planting was successful, with pre -dug and <br />prepared planting holes. <br />Discussion on the locker room renovation: <br />• A planning meeting with architect Scott Fleming is <br />scheduled for tomorrow. <br />• Expected project cost is approximately $300,000— <br />CHAIR DS $400,000, with $60,000 allocated in the current year's <br />budget. <br />• Major upgrades include full plumbing overhaul; <br />fixtures, and minor electrical work. <br />• Potential auxiliary uses of existing space are under <br />consideration, such as expanding the fitness area into <br />an underutilized storage room and exploring enclosing <br />the lanai for multifunctional use. <br />• A suggestion was made to install hot water in the <br />washbasins used by early swimmers. <br />May Financials: $1,100 monthly surplus; YTD loss of <br />$53,000. <br />Auditor engagement: Agreed to conduct audits every three <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT years and upon GM changes. Initial audit cost: $16,500 (Alex <br />CHAIR: Smith CPA). <br />Motion: Approve triennial audit schedule; Moved by B. <br />DeYoung, 2nd J. Pratt <br />Vote: Passed unanimously <br />
