Hawai'i Police Commission Page 3 February 20, 2004 <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />To consider discipline and charges against officers or employees of the Hawaii County Police <br />Department where consideration of matters affecting privacy will be involved and a closed <br />session is requested and to consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and issues <br />pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant to <br />HRS 92 -5 (2) and Hawaii County Charter Section 13 -20 (b). <br />• Status report of complaints referred to Chief Mahuna. <br />• Investigation and deliberation of complaints. <br />HPC 03 -31: Complainant alleged that an officer misused his position and intimidated <br />her when he spoke to her while off -duty and led her to believe that he was on duty. <br />(Deferred at previous meeting.) <br />HPC 03 -35: Complainant was arrested for cruelty to animals and complained about the <br />procedures and process during his arrest. <br />Correspondence 03 -129, from Corporation Counsel Ashida regarding request for <br />records by Jack Brunton. <br />ACTION ON EXECUTIVE SESSION MATTERS <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The next monthly meeting is scheduled for March 19, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., in the Hawai'i <br />County Council Room in Hilo. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />NOTE: If you require an accommodation or auxiliary aid and /or services to participate in <br />this meeting (i.e., sign language interpreter, large print, etc.), please call 961 -8412. <br />
