Hawai'i Police Commission Page 3 February 20, 2004 EXECUTIVE SESSION To consider discipline and charges against officers or employees of the Hawaii County Police Department where consideration of matters affecting privacy will be involved and a closed session is requested and to consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92 -5 (2) and Hawaii County Charter Section 13 -20 (b). • Status report of complaints referred to Chief Mahuna. • Investigation and deliberation of complaints. HPC 03 -31: Complainant alleged that an officer misused his position and intimidated her when he spoke to her while off -duty and led her to believe that he was on duty. (Deferred at previous meeting.) HPC 03 -35: Complainant was arrested for cruelty to animals and complained about the procedures and process during his arrest. Correspondence 03 -129, from Corporation Counsel Ashida regarding request for records by Jack Brunton.
