Presentation from State of Hawaii about Fish Aggregation Device ("FAD") to talk <br /> about the history, budget, and future of the FAD program. <br /> b. GMAC discussion regarding Makahanaloa Fishing Association, denial of access <br /> and violation of SMA permit as well as the CDUP permit. GMAC may enter an executive <br /> session to consult with its attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the <br /> Commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. <br /> c. Discussion of whether to issue a letter to the County, asking the County to <br /> purchase the Boy Scout Camp located between Waimea and Honoka'a, <br /> including the firearm and archery range. <br /> 8. ADJOURNMENT. <br /> Executive Session: This Commission anticipates it may convene in one or more executive <br /> sessions regarding the above matters listed on the agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 and <br /> 92-5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board's attorney on questions and issues <br /> pertaining to the Commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A two-thirds <br /> (2/3) vote pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statute Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive <br /> session. Executive sessions are closed to the public. Commissioners attending the meeting from <br /> private locations shall advise if any person is with them (except for the names of minors). <br /> Note: This meeting shall be automatically recessed for up to 30 minutes to restore communication <br /> when audiovisual communication cannot be maintained with all Commission members <br /> participating in the meeting or with the "in-person" location identified in this agenda. This meeting <br /> may be in-person when either audiovisual communication is restored, or audio-only <br /> communication is established after an unsuccessful attempt to restore audiovisual <br /> communication.
