<br /> I got an email, I don't know if you guys saw in the email,that our budget was a little more
<br /> than$4,000, it was$4,000, like... $4,100. 120-something. 22,yeah. I was like 25. So right
<br /> now, currently, our budget is basically$4,122. The budget was... to me, it's for... I got told it
<br /> was for gas, paperwork, and the logistics behind this meeting. In the past,we've gone to
<br /> O'ahu,we traveled to Kona, the money paid for our lunch and dinner sometimes for the
<br /> meetings, and if it's anything out of scope of, printing receipts, refunding gas,or meals,then
<br /> we have to get it approved by the managing director,which is Bill.We already had our trip to
<br /> O'ahu last year to the legislature opening, and so far, a lot of our things have gotten
<br /> approved that we wanted to do. Our budget,that's where I was thinking of getting the tent
<br /> from.All of our marketing funds that we need to do marketing to recruit people.Also,our
<br /> budget can go towards, I was talking with Micah about this,towards professional
<br /> development of commissioners,towards things like, going to,what's it called,the
<br /> conservation conference, or hunting conference, or Management Conference. So that's in
<br /> the scope of our professional development as a commissioner. And that's why I even put on
<br /> top here, oh, I wanted to get us up to date with ourweapons training and all of the new
<br /> updated laws. I reached out to Armed Aloha last week, and they're open to giving us a
<br /> special class. if we want to go as a group, or if we want to go as individuals, giving us an
<br /> update on the weapons class, because I know the laws have changed, and like I said,we
<br /> have a lot of shootings going on. Sorry,what was the...The budget, okay,yeah, so this is just
<br /> my idea about what we can use the budget for,and this is for the future commissioners,
<br /> because, I mean,we're out already, but I wanted to get this started so that waywe can get
<br /> professional development, so we can get people who know the laws behind the guns
<br /> coming up, and... all of this stuff.
