Hawaii County Police Commission Page 3 November 16, 2007 <br />➢ HPC 07 -46: Complainant alleged that he was wrongfully accused of DUI and being <br />noncompliant, that he was assaulted, not given medical assistance, and was kept in <br />jail over night. <br />➢ HPC 07 -47: Complainant alleged that during a fight at a club, arresting officers <br />pushed and cursed at him. <br />➢ HPC 07 -48: Complainant alleged that a woman denied his version and was rude. <br />➢ HPC 07 -49: Complainant alleged that he was assaulted, he was the victim, yet he was <br />arrested. <br />➢ HPC 07 -50: Complainant alleged that an officer used profanity at him. <br />➢ HPC 07 -51: Complainant alleged that an officer should have given the other driver in <br />her hit - and -run accident more citations and should have arrested him. <br />• Preliminary work on annual evaluation of Police Chief Mahuna. <br />ACTION ON EXECUTIVE SESSION MATTERS <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />• The Police Commission's next monthly meeting will be on December 21, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. in <br />the Waimea Civic Center Conference Room, 67 -5189 Kamamalu St., Waimea. <br />• Collection of files and documents. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />NOTE: If you require an accommodation or auxiliary aid and /or services to participate in this <br />meeting (i.e., sign language interpreter, large print, etc.), please call the Police Commission at <br />961 -8412 at least three days prior to the meeting. <br />
