Commissioner <br />Sumja seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />• Budget and Finance (Whittemore / Kaoiwi): Commissioner Kaoiwi reported that he <br />looked over the final budget for 2008 -09, and it looked okay. <br />• Office Management and Staffing (Lass iter /Morimoto) <br />• Rules and Policies (Behenna /Sumja): Sumja read his report. (Attachment A). <br />Behenna stated that the revisions will be presented to the Corporation Counsel, the <br />Chief, and the commissioners for their review. Behenna requested that the <br />commissioners provide input by November 1. <br />• Contractual Services (vacant): No report. <br />• Public Relations /Information (Lassiter /Behenna): No report. <br />CHIEF'S REPORT <br />Including: <br />• Crime: AC Tavares very briefly summarized the written report. Behenna asked for <br />population of Area I and Area II. Tavares stated that he didn't know what the <br />numbers were.
