Tokihiro, Submitting For The Board’s Review And Approval, A Proposed <br />Draft Memo To The Salary Commission Concerning Their Inquiry To The Appointing <br />Authorities Regarding Proposed Salary Adjustments For Fiscal Year 2025-2026 <br /> <br />CHR. CABANAS: We are now on “Unfinished Business.” So, we have three communications <br />that I just read. And thank you, Sommer, for submitting the draft memo for our review, which <br />will go to the Salary Commission concerning the appointing authority’s proposed salary <br />adjustments for fiscal year 2025 to 2026. <br /> <br />And, Board members, if you could please look at the tab that is blue that— <br /> <br />MR. THOMAS: (Inaudible)—the last tab, right? <br /> <br />CHR. CABANAS: The last tab. This is from Sommer. Oh, I’m sorry, it’s not the blue tab—it’s <br />the white tab. <br /> <br />MR. THOMAS: The white tab is the one that has all the recommendations, right? <br /> <br />CHR. CABANAS: But the tabs— <br /> <br />MS. BOND: The white tab is your—is Gabriella’s response. <br /> <br />CHR. CABANAS: Yeah, because it’s mis-labeled because the white tab shows it’s from Danny, <br />but the memo is what Sommer worked on. <br /> <br />MS. TOKIHIRO: Correct. <br /> <br />CHR. CABANAS: And, Sommer, I must say this is a very nice write-up. <br /> <br />MS. TOKIHIRO: Thank you. <br /> <br />CHR. CABANAS: It’s thorough, it’s specific, it addresses issues that the department is faced <br />with—what situations that your department is faced with. And the idea behind that was to give <br />the Salary Commission a good idea—a thorough idea as to what’s involved, what’s happening <br />with the department, and its work with the County departments. So, this is really a good report. <br /> <br />Does anyone have any questions for Sommer regarding the content of this memo? It’s still in <br />draft. We need to approve it, so that it will go forward to the Salary Commission. They’ve <br />already met, but they’re going to meet again on November 17. <br /> <br />MS.
