Hawaii County Police Commission <br />Regular Session Minutes <br />February 12, 2004 <br />Page 5 <br />COMMISSIONER DE SILVA motioned that the Police Commission request an opinion <br />from the Corporation Counsel relating to how the Police Commission can obtain subpoena <br />power, in addition to that it currently possesses for contested cases, to compel the <br />attendance of witnesses before the Police Commission and to compel the production of <br />documents and things. Commissioner Mitchell seconded the motion, and it carried <br />unanimously. <br />COMMISSIONER FRAZIER stated that Purchasing will be notified of the commission's <br />decision and thank you letters will be sent to those interviewed. <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS - None <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Vice Chair Manago announced that the next monthly meeting is scheduled for February <br />20, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., at the Waimea Civic, next to the Police Station. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The meeting was adjourned at 3:25 p.m. <br />SUBMITTED: <br />APPROVED: <br />JOSIE PELAYO, SECRETARY HORACE S.
