Liquor Commission Hawaii High Country Lounge, LLC dba Hawaii High Country Lounge Page 3 On December 5, 1991, the Liquor Commission approved the following: 1. The lawn area fronting the licensed premises identified as Area A on the sketch and the lawn area located between the new addition and the original licensed premises identified as Area B on the sketch (attached as Exhibit 4) will be used for special functions only. 2. Service to the guest rooms within the licensed premises shall be to adults only, as requested, by individual drinks and full bottle service only. 3. Service of intoxicating liquor in Building 4 which contains seven guest rooms and a lounge shall be limited to guest rooms and is not permitted in the lounge. The lounge was excluded as Commissioners were concerned about the lack of supervision in this area over the consumption of intoxicating liquor as required by the Rules and Regulations of the Liquor Commission and Chapter 281, HRS, as amended. For further information, refer to Exhibits 3 and 4 attached. DETAILS OF THE CHANGE IN CATEGORY: Applicant currently does not have live entertainment or dancing, therefore they would like to offer this to their customers who are enjoying a meal within the restaurant. Applicant is currently open seven (7) days a week from 8:00 a.m. — 10:00 p.m. Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. — 10:00 a.m., lunch from 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m., and dinner from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., with bar service available until midnight. Live entertainment and dancing will only be held within the restaurant dining area as shown in the Floorplan attached as Exhibit 2. For special events and/or private parties such as weddings, applicant will let our Department know if they plan to have live entertainment in the lawn areas as depicted in Exhibit 4. On March 11, 2026, Applicant submitted an Application for Live Entertainment and Dancing (One Time Only Trial Period Not to Exceed 90 Days) and received approval by the Director on March 15, 2026. COMMERCIAL SPACE LEASE: This Lease commenced May 22, 2018, by and between RTA Kilauea Lodge, LLC, ("Landlord"), and Hawaii High Country Lounge, LLC, ("Tenant"), with a termination date of June 30, 2030. ZONING: Village Commercial. SURROUNDING AREA: A survey of the surrounding area reveals that there are no schools, churches, or liquor licenses with the same class and kind located within 500 feet of the licensed premises. At the present time there are 138 of the same class and 122 of the same kind of liquor licenses being lawfully exercised in the County of Hawaii.
