Hawaii County Police Commission <br />Regular Session Minutes <br />March 18, 2005 <br />Page 6 <br />ACTION ON EXECUTIVE SESSION MATTERS <br />• Complaint HPC 04 -09: Complainant alleged that two officers breached the peace when <br />they stood by while his vehicle was repossessed. Commissioner Frazier motioned to <br />exonerate the officers. Commissioner Mitchell seconded the motion, and it carried <br />unanimously. <br />Complaint HPC 05 -01: Complainant alleged that some bikers beat him, and an officer did <br />not offer him medical assistance. Commissioner Muller motioned to exonerate the officer. <br />Commissioner Hara seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. <br />Complaint HPC 05 -02: Complainant alleged that an officer failed to warn motorists of the <br />dangerous road condition and then did not admit that he was involved in the incident. <br />Commissioner Muller motioned to refer this to the Chief for his review of the complainant's <br />concerns over safety practices. Commissioner Hara seconded the motion, and it carried <br />unanimously. <br />• Complaint HPC 05 -04: Complainant alleged that an officer stated that he couldn't do <br />anything about a TRO violation. Commissioner Lundkvist motioned to exonerate the <br />officer. Commissioner Mitchell seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />• Commissioner Frazier stated that in a recent newspaper article, a County Council <br />member stated that a commissioner has more power than a council member.
