Whittemore, Vice Chair <br />Louis Kaoiwi, Commissioner <br />Karolyn P. Lundkvist, Commissioner <br />Betsy Mitchell, Commissioner <br />Melvin S. Morimoto, Commissioner <br />Michael B. Sumja, Commissioner <br />Absent: Anita Politano Steckel, Commissioner <br />Kaloa R. N. Robinson, Commissioner <br />A quorum was present. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Lawrence K. Kubojiri, Deputy Chief <br />Paul Ferreira, Assistant Chief <br />Henry Tavares, Assistant Chief <br />Samuel Thomas, Major <br />Marshall, Kanehailua, Captain <br />Lincoln S. Ashida, Corporation Counsel <br />Josie Pelayo, Secretary <br />Vice Chair Whittemore moved to approve the agenda. Commissioner Kaoiwi <br />seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. <br />STATEMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS: None. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Commissioner Kaoiwi moved to approve the minutes of December 20 and 21, 2007, <br />regular and executive sessions. Commissioner Sumja seconded the motion, and it <br />carried unanimously. <br />PERSONNEL ORDERS <br />Commissioner Kaoiwi moved to accept Personnel Orders Nos. 2007-113 to 2007-117 <br />and 2008 -001. Commissioner Sumja seconded the motion, and it carried <br />unanimously. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Commissioner Kaoiwi moved to accept the communications as listed. Commissioner <br />Sumja seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. <br />
