<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC – Pursuant to HRS 92-3 interested persons that want to <br />provide oral testimony may do so either at the time the board takes public statements on the agenda <br />or at the time the specific agenda item is called or as otherwise allowed at the sole discretion of the <br />Chair. <br />BUSINESS OF THE AGENCY <br />1. Legislative Update on the Waiākea Peninsula: Invited members of the State Legislature to <br />provide updates on the 2026 legislative session, including but not limited to SB2001, relating <br />to the Banyan Drive Community Development District and HB2218, relating to the <br />Department of Land and Natural Resources. Invited Legislators: <br />· Senator Lorraine Inouye <br />· Representative Sue Keohokapu-Lee Loy <br />· Representative Matthias Kusch <br />· Representative Chris Todd <br />2. Hawaiākea ʻi Community Development Authority (HCDA) Update on the Wai <br />Peninsula and Implementation of SB2001: HCDA Executive Director Craig Nakamoto to <br />provide an update on implementation of SB2001, establishing the Banyan Drive Community <br />Development District. Update to include an overview of SB2001, HCDA’s timeline and next <br />steps, and the status of the Waiākea Peninsula planning study. <br />3. Mayor’s Office Update on the Waiākea Peninsula: Mayor Kimo Alameda and/or <br />designated representatives have been invited to comment and provide guidance on initiatives <br />related to the Waiākea Peninsula. <br />4. DLNR Update on Banyan Drive: Candace Martin, Acting District Land Agent, Hawai`i <br />District Land Office to provide a report of recent DLNR activities on Banyan Drive. <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br />1. Approval of meeting minutes from the March 27, 2026, Banyan Drive Hawaiʻi <br />Redevelopment Agency meeting. <br />2. Scheduling of the next meeting date. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Submitting Written Testimony: Pursuant to § 92-3, HRS, interested persons who want to provide <br />oral testimony may do so either at the time the committee takes public statements on the agenda, or at <br />the time the specific agenda item is called. Please note that public testimony may be limited to three <br />(3) minutes in length per agenda item. Those wishing to testify in person should register with the <br />Commission Secretary at the in-person location at the meeting.
