Okamoto, Manager—Chief Engineer <br /> SUBJECT: Preliminary Plat Map and Defer Action <br /> Subdivider: Shane D.Turpin <br /> Tax Map Key 1-7-023:016(PL-SUB-2025-000357) <br /> We have reviewed the subject application and have the following comments. <br /> Please be informed that there is an existing 6-inch waterline within South Road and Nala Road adjacent to the <br /> subject parcel. For your information,the subject parcel does not currently have water service with the <br /> Department. <br /> The Department's water system facilities can only provide one(l)unit of water,or one(1)518-inch ineter, per <br /> pre-existing lot of record,which is suitable for only one (1)single-family dwelling. Therefore,only one(1)of <br /> the proposed lots would be able to obtain service at this time. The Department's existing water system facilities <br /> cannot support the proposed subdivision at this time. Extensive improvements and additions,which may <br /> include, but not limited to source, storage, booster pumps, transmission,and distribution facilities,would be <br /> required. <br /> Should the subdivision be approved by the Planning Department, we request that the applicant designate, in <br /> writing,which one(1) lot within the proposed subdivision that is fronting South Road or Nala Road be assigned <br /> the one(1) service.
