The Commission is comprised of volunteers from your community and is <br />charged with studying the organization and methods of operation of each County department in <br />an effort to promote economy, efficiency and improved service in the transaction of the public <br />business in the legislative and executive branches of the County. <br /> As a starting point for discussion, the Commission asks for your input on the following <br />questions: <br />1.Do you have any ideas on how the County can save money while not <br />compromising essential services? <br />2.Do you have any ideas on how the County government can function more <br />efficiently? <br />Because we have only eleven (11) months to fulfill our Charter mandate, please provide <br />September 13, 2010. <br />your input no later than <br />YOUR RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE QUESTIONS MAY BE MADE <br />ANONYMOUSLY. <br />Please send your response to the Cost of Government Commission c/o Office of the <br />Corporation Counsel, 101 Aupuni Street, Suite 325, Hilo, Hawai‘i 96720.
