b. The hearing will be conducted in an informal but orderly <br />manner. <br />c. The Board may request that any <br />third party involved in a case <br />of the County with information <br />before the Board appear before <br />hearing for the purpose of ans <br />the Board members. <br />officer, employee, or <br />or any officer or employee <br />relevant to the matter <br />the Board at an informal <br />veering questions posed by <br />d. The Board. will consider all relevant evidence. <br />5.5 Advisory Opinions <br />a. At the conclusion of the investigation or the <br />investigatory hearing, whichever is later, the Board will <br />render an advisory opinion in accordance with Rule 4.9, <br />unless the Board finds it necessary to conduct a formal <br />hearing before rendering an advisory opinion. <br />RULE 6. FORMAL OPINIONS AND HEARINGS <br />6.1 Formal Opinions <br />a. If the informal advisory opinion indicates a probable <br />violation of the Code of Ethics, the person charged shall <br />request a formal opinion within a reasonable time, or <br />comply with the informal advisory opinion subject to <br />whatever disciplinary action deemed necessary and taken <br />by the Council or appointing authority in accordance with <br />Rule 4.10. <br />b. - If the person charged fails to comply with such informal <br />advisory opinion within a reasonable time without <br />requesting a formal opinion, or if a majority of the <br />Board members to which the Board is entitled determine <br />that there exists probable cause for belief that a <br />-14- <br />
